Placement and fastening methods are the most important elements of adding ballasts to your race car. To ensure our ballast is going to remain in its location we have designed it to bolt directly to the passenger seat locations. This placement helps to directly offset the driver weight opposite in the vehicle and keep the added weight as low as possible. The Bilt Racing Service BRS weight plate also provides a surface for mounting of cool suits, batteries, etc. Our ballast plate weighs in at 48 lbs. Finish is black powdercoat.
