A magnetic drain plug is an easy way to add protection to your BMW or Mini engine. The integrated magnet will remove any suspended iron particles from the oil. Inspection of the magnet during an oil change allows for an easy way to monitor the health of your engine. The magnetic plug is a direct replacement for your factory plug and uses the OEM crush washer/seal, part number 07-11-9-963-151, which should be replaced every time you change your oil. Torque to the factory torque spec.
Drain plug is billet and features a hard nickel plating for added durability. One drain plug washer is included.
Fits most 1977 through 2020 BMW engines and 2014 through 2016 Mini engines; please double check complete application listing below before ordering to ensure this is the correct drain plug for your vehicle.
