Nickies cylinders with JE piston sets

Since 2002, LN Engineering has been manufacturing its signature aluminum Nickies cylinders in the USA for air-cooled Porsche and Volkswagen engines.

Unlike OEM Mahle cylinders that are cast, we start with our custom aluminum extrusions which are then fully CNC machined, then given a hard nickel silicon carbide electroplated coating, similar to Nikasil, which provides a long lasting wear surface for the pistons and rings.
