Adjustable caster arms with anti-dive
The caster arms of Elephant Racing offer adjustable caster and anti-dive capabilities when used at the front and adjustable wheelbase, weight distribution and anti-squat when used at the rear.
Front suspension
- Double threaded adjustment makes it easy to extend or shorten the arm.
- This allows for easy adjustment of the caster – an important adjustment that the factory omitted. A must have for cars with GT3 style extendable wishbones to correct for unintended caster increase caused by the extended LCAs.
- Anti-dive behavior can also be adjusted. Lowering the front of the arm using the included spacers reduces the plunge forward under braking. Adjustable in 2 mm increments.
Rear suspension
- Adjustable caster arms can reduce rear overhang and rear weight deviation. A must-have for cars with GT3 style extendable wishbones. Adjust the length of the caster arms to correct the position of the rear wheels pulled forward by aggressive camber settings. Even overcompensate for less rear weight than stock.
- With the heavy mass of the engine cantilevered behind the rear axle, even small changes in wheelbase can cause significant changes in weight distribution. Shortening the overhang reduces the 911's famous "pendulum" effect when cornering.
- Raising the front of the caster arm using the included spacers will reduce leaning back under acceleration. Adjustable in 2 mm increments.
- Completely Weatherproof - Good covers at the heim joint keep water and contaminants out for longer life.
