Description
This product and associated wiring locates entirely within the fuse box and is designed to allow remote control switching between the superb “loud mode” exhaust tone that Astons can deliver and the sometimes more practical “quiet mode” at the press of a button on a remote fob.
Fitting the module to the Rapide takes longer than other Astons at around 30 minutes, the unit does however come with detailed fitting instructions.

It operates by controlling the exhaust vacuum system solenoid directly from the key fob, where the lock symbol is the locked down quiet mode and unlock is the superb loud mode that would otherwise not be activated until you are north of 4000 RPM.
The unit is set to be in normal or quiet mode as the default for starting up, this will utilize the existing vacuum controls to hold the by pass valves in the exhaust box in quiet mode until revs are north of 4000 RPM, operating totally as Aston originally designed it to. The Loud button can then be pressed at any time to release the superbly enhanced exhaust note that gives such a delightfully distinctive tone, in particular from around 1700 RPM upward (a far more common rev range for day to day driving)
