Engine: Pauter Machine Billet rocker arm set, standard ratio with DLC coating for Porsche 911 and 964

Pauter wanted to make these special Porsche 911 billet rocker arms lighter and stronger and able to handle more aggressive cam profiles. After almost a year of engineering, development and testing, Pauter has succeeded. At 85 grams, this rocker is 45 grams lighter than Porsche's standard rocker, totaling to approximately 1,2 kg valve train weight. This is possible because the increase in material strength allows for a sleek, blade-like design (comparison below). Thanks to our precision engineering and machining, the tolerance per rocker is generally approximately ±1,5 grams, while stock rockers can differ by as much as 17 grams. These rockers are machined entirely from billet tool steel, three-stage heat treated and DLC coated for wear resistance and friction/drag reduction. The materials and treatment processes have been selected for their proven performance and durability in a wide range of heavy-duty applications. The extension of the rounded follower shoe increases the usable wear surface, allowing for a cam profile aggressiveness never before seen in the 911 rocker arena. During the development phases, prototypes were cycle tested both third party and internally, using various cams at and well above normal racing rpm (over 10.000) with excessive spring loading for many hours. The results of these tests have enabled us to supply this product with the same confidence as all Pauter products. Due to the marked increase in strength, wear resistance and weight savings, these rocker arms allow the engine expert to apply a range of spring pressures to best suit your engine program. Accepts factory swivel base adjusters (sold separately).
