Pauter: Lightweight connecting rod set for Porsche 914 1.7 (Set of 4)

Pauter X-beam connecting rods for Porsche 914 and VW Type 4 1.7 and 1.8 engines use E4340 vacuum-melt chrome-moly forgings and are fully CNC machined and heat treated to Rockwell C36. Pauter connecting rods feature full coverage shot peening and are end-to-end balanced in sets. Every Pauter connecting rod comes standard with ARP 2000 bolts with a tensile strength of 220.000 psi and aluminum-bronze wrist pin bushings. Pauter's unique X-beam construction balances strength and weight reduction while reducing horsepower loss due to crankcase winding.
