LN Engineering Aluminum 0.5 Quart Deep Oil Sump Pan for Porsche Boxster, Cayman and 911 Models is the latest addition to our range of upgrades designed to improve the durability and reliability of the M96 and M97 engine.
Machined in the USA from a solid 6061-T6 aluminum, the deep sump with integral finned sump plate is stronger than the factory cast sump plate and less susceptible to damage from road hazards that can cause engine oil loss and subsequent catastrophic engine injury. The material used has a higher thermal conductivity and benefits from added cooling fins to help lower engine oil temperature, allowing it to dissipate heat better than the factory crankcase. Includes LN 106-07 magnetic drain plug, oil suction extension, hardware and sealant.
