If you have a '911-'912 930/69/85, chances are the lower dash looks pretty rough. Typically, the foam padding at the corners is peeling, the radio/HVAC vents are sagging, the plastic bits and pieces are faded, the glove box door is misaligned, and the list goes on. We've seen countless restorations and resto-mods that are absolutely flawless until you sit in the car and are confronted with that dreary factory dashboard. This is an area that really bothered us in our own restorations, so we ultimately developed a solution: the Rennline Dash Backdate Kit.

The Rennline Dash Backdate kit is a dash that installs in place of all that OEM ugliness. It does away with the original foam padding, glove box door, seat belt warning light and all other non-essentials. In its place is a beautiful dashboard with a polished extrusion similar to that of the early 911s, but in one full length instead of the split parts. Also reminiscent of early 911s are the extruded inserts available in carbon fiber or basketweave leather. This could very well be the final piece of your restoration/resto-mod puzzle. *Note The locations of your switches may differ from the photos.
