Carrillo connecting rods are machined entirely from a proprietary 4330M alloy forging for strength and durability, exceeding the requirements of any performance-oriented Porsche 356 or 912 engine.

Features upgraded CARR-S7 (MP35N) bolts with a UTS of 285ksi.

The bolts are manufactured with asymmetric threads, each thread has a slightly different design from the previous one giving the bolts an evenly spaced thread. This helps to increase clamp load and fastener life.
