Do you know how hot your oil is?

The ideal engine oil temperature for a modern water-cooled engine is 107-110 degrees Celsius. When used on the track, this can rise to over 149 degrees Celsius in models with 3.8 or 4.0 engines.

The LN Engineering Billet (uncast) 2.5 QT Deep Oil Sump Set incl. suction pipe extension for MY09+ 9A1 engine in Boxster, Cayman and 911.1 models lowers the oil temperature on the track to 5 degrees Celsius. A must for any road and track car with the 9A1 engine. Baffle pictured not included (uses factory oil control baffle). Instructions for installing the oil suction extension can be downloaded here.

Does not fit 991.2 engines.
